KEYSTONE'S BLACK FOOTBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK FOR WEEK FIVE |
SEPT. 27-29 |
KNOX Keystone quarterback Adam Black is the
D9Sports.Com District 9 Football Player of the Week for the Fifth Week of
the 2001 season after a record-setting performance Friday night.
Black went 25-for-36 passing for 426 yards and seven touchdowns in leading the Panthers to a 50-6 win over West Shamokin. Both the yardage and touchdowns thrown set Keystone school records that had previously been held by former Panther standout Tom Pore. The seven touchdowns thrown are also believed to have tied the District 9 record. Fourteen other players playing in District 9 leagues are also being honored this week as honorable mention recipients including Blacks top receiver in the game Bobby Telesz. Their names appear below.
