BRADFORD -- Senior halfback Elliott George ran for three touchdowns, blocked a punt and added a safety in leading the Bradford Owls past Olean (NY) 51-22 Friday night at Bradford.

The Owls built a 37-22 halftime lead and never looked back.

Senior quarterback Kevin Rose added a pair of scores and Jason Casey and Sean Colligan rounded out the scoring for the Owls who ran up 300 yards on the ground.

It was the 104th meeting in the Bradford-Olean football series, the longest schoolboy rivalry in the northeast. Bradford now leads the series 57-40-7.

The Owls are now 2-0 and home to Punxsutawney Friday night at Parkway Field and on 1490 WESB, Bradford. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
