OIL CITY – The Bradford Owls ran for 320 yards in blanking the Oil City Oilers 34-0 Friday night at Oil City.

The Owls jumped out to a 14-0 halftime lead on a 36-yard touchdown by junior Jason Casey and a 58-yard touchdown strike from senior quarterback Kevin Rose to senior split end Ben Copeland.

Senior fullbacks Mike Fair and Jimmy Nuzzo added 4-yard and 24-yard touchdown runs in the third quarter, and junior halfback Shawn Colligan ran in from 32-yards out to cap the scoring.

Oil City was held to just 179 yards of offense including just 58 yards on the ground.

Fair led the Owls with 17 carries for 97 yards rushing and Nuzzo and Casey each ran for 58 yards.

Brandon Hall led Oil City going 11-for-30 for 90 yards.

The Owls are now 4-0 and home to St. Marys Friday night at Parkway Field.
