OWLS DUMP DRAGONS, EARN SHARE OF D-9 LEAGUE TITLE WITH DUBOIS LOSS

BRADFORD - The Bradford Owls scored five unanswered touchdowns, including four in the second quarter, as they turned back Warren 42 to 7 Friday night at Parkway field.  

Senior quarterback Kevin Rose led the way tossing two touchdowns and also catching a 15 yarder for a score.  Ben Copeland threw for one score on a flanker option and caught a 24 yarder to boot.  Mike Fair added a 2 yard run, Jimmy Nuzzo, who ran for 91 yards, had a 7 yard touchdown run, and Elliott George added a 20 yard touchdown catch and a three yard run.  

The Owls defense forced two Dragon fumbles and blocked a punt in the lopsided win. The Owls had 277 total yards including 217 on the ground.  Bradford held Warren to only 100 total yards.   

The Owls finish the regular season at 8 and 1 and a a share of the D9 league title after Clearfield beat Dubois 21-0. Warren finishes their season at 5 and 4.
