QUESTION & ANSWER
Q: You are in a situation where you are part of a running-back by committee set up with Bubba Rue and Kevin Grejda. What are the benefits of this? What are some of the challenges?
A: It's been great having three running backs splitting the carries. We all have different running styles which is awesome for the team. One day one of us will not have a good day but we have two other people running the ball. The only challenge is if one of us is having a great day it leaves one of us out of the running attack. But it's great when when that does happen. We are cheering for one another.

Q: A couple of weeks ago, you guys lost your starting quarterback Dan Walters to a season-ending injury. What kind of adjustments have you had to make on offense since then?
A: To be honest, we have not changed much. I mean, Dan was a huge loss but Brandon (Heeter) stepped in and has done a great job. The only thing we really miss is Danny's speed and ability to get out of the pocket. But we all realize that we have to work twice as hard.
Q: You have been a starting linebacker for the last couple of seasons on a team that is probably District 9’s equivalent of Penn State’s “Linebacker U”. What does it mean for you to continue the long legacy of great Clarion linebackers?
A: It's an honor to be part of the great legacy of linebackers at Clarion. It was amazing to get a chance to play my sophomore year, and to still be starting at Clarion is a great honor to me.
Q: You have also been asked to do the punting and kicking duties the last couple of years and have had some long punts and kickoffs that have helped change field position. How much pride do you take in your ability to change the complexion of the game with your leg?
A: I take a lot of pride doing all the kicking duties. I know that special teams are a big part of the game, and I do my best to put the defense in a great position to make plays.

Q: What are your plans after high school?
A: Go to college to keep playing baseball and maybe punt at the college level. I plan to go to college for Wild Life Management and to some day own my own deer ranch.
