By Rich Rhoades BROOKVILLE – Senior Cayliff Worling scored two touchdowns and
helped lead the Brookville Raiders to a 25-6 win over visiting Keystone in a Keystone Shortway Athletic Conference
game Friday night. Worling scored both of his touchdowns in a second half that saw the
Raiders (4-4 overall, 4-3 KSAC) break a 6-6 halftime tie. He caught a 16-yard TD pass from Tyler Dombrowski and
raced 80 yards on a broken play in the fourth quarter to secure the win. Worling finished with 135 yards on seven carries and also 74 more
yards in returns. He nearly had another touchdown, but fumbled into the end zone from the 2-yard line on a 24-yard
run in the first half. Keystone (3-5, 3-5) scored on its second possession of the game on
Zach Smith’s 3-yard run, but couldn’t find the end zone again. The Panthers had two good shots in the second half after going down
19-6 after Ethan Harmon’s 6-yard run for the Raiders. After the ensuing kickoff, the Panthers marched 50 yards on
eight plays and three Raiders penalties totaling 20 yards to the Raiders’ 10. Keystone got to the Raiders’ 3, but two straight incomplete passes
turned the ball over on downs. Then after forcing the Raiders to punt out of their own end zone, the Panthers
started at the Brookville 28 and got to the Raiders’ 16, but Keystone quarterback Dan Reed’s pass to the end
zone on first-and-10 was intercepted by Dan Haines. It was Haines’ seventh interception of the season. On the very next play from scrimmage, Worling, taking the direct
snap in shotgun formation, muffed the snap, managed to pick up the ball and somehow eluded several Keystone
defenders and went 80 yards for the score on the broken play. In the first half, Kyle Galbraith scored on a 3-yard run on the
possession after Smith scored for Keystone. The Raiders outgained the Panthers, 330-173. Galbraith rushed for 71
yards on nine carries. Harmon had 57 yards on 11 attempts. For Keystone, Reed completed 16 of 37 passes for 150
yards. Brett Zuck had seven catches for 80 yards. Smith rushed for 50 yards on 14 carries, including 49 yards on seven
carries in the team’s only scoring drive. BROOKVILLE 25, KEYSTONE 6 Score By Quarters Keystone
