BROOKVILLE — Scoring on the first two possessions of the first and fourth quarters, the Brookville Raiders held off Keystone and improved to 2-0 with a 27-7 win Friday night.

Ryan Kerr led the way, rushing for 158 yards on 17 carries and scoring three touchdowns on runs of 9, 45 and 24 yards, the last two coming in the fourth quarter after Panthers had gotten to within 14-7 late in the fourth quarter.

Raiders quarterback Steven Kennedy rushed for 93 yards on seven carries, his 31-yard run on the first drive setting up Cieleski’s run.

But the Panthers bottled up the Raiders after the early onslaught and hung in the game. They cashed in on a Raiders fumbled punt and scored on quarterback Mitchell Rearick’s 9-yard pass to Kyle Servey with 2:49 left in the third quarter.

Keystone then drove deep into Raiders territory after holding them on a three-and-out possession, but stalled on downs at the Raiders’ 24. Three plays later the Raiders scored on Kerr’s 45-yarder.

The Raiders then put the game away after holding the Panthers on downs deep in their own territory when it took just three plays to find the end zone for the final time. Kerr’s 24-yarder came with 7:03 remaining.

Brookville outgained Keystone, 362-242.

Rearick led the Panthers with 57 yards rushing and completed 9 of 27 passes for 125 yards. Matt Hergenroeder caught five balls for  83 yards. Colt O’Neil had a sack and recovered a fumble.
