NEW BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Redbank Valley’s Brooke Hinderliter and Alexa Smith were honored last week as KDKA TV “Extra Effort” Award recipients.Hinderliter just concluded a fantastic basketball career that saw her score 1,997 career points, and she is the defending stats champion in the javelin, while Smith is captain of both the Lady Bulldogs soccer and track and field teams.
