The AML holds a semifinals/championship game format for both the boys and the girls, while the KSAC holds a boys’ and girls’ championship game.

The AML event will start with the boys’ semifinal games on Thursday, February 14. AML South second-place finisher DuBois Central Catholic will play at AML North champion Elk County Catholic at 7:00 p.m., while AML North second-place finisher Johnsonburg will play at AML South champion Ridgway at 7:00 p.m.

The girls’ semifinal contests will be held on Friday, February 15. AML South second-place finisher Ridgway will travel to AML North champion Kane, while AML North second-place finisher Johnsonburg will travel to AML South champion DuBois Central Catholic. Both of those games are also at 7:00 p.m.

The championship games will be on Saturday, February 16, at St. Marys High School. The girls’ title game between the semifinal winners will be at 6:30 p.m. followed by the boys’ title game at 8:00 p.m.

The KSAC girls’ game will be a rematch of last year’s title game featuring KSAC South champion A-C Valley and KSAC North champion North Clarion. That game will be played at 7:00 p.m. Friday, February 15, at Keystone High School.

North Clarion is looking for its third straight KSAC Title while playing in its fourth consecutive KSAC Title Game. A-C Valley has never won a KSAC Title Game and is playing in its second straight.

The boys’ game will be a rematch of the 2017 title game featuring KSAC South Champion Keystone against KSAC North champion Clarion-Limestone. That game will be played at 7:00 p.m. Saturday, February 16, at Clarion High School.

Keystone won the title two years ago over C-L, while C-L beat Karns City for last year’s title.

Doors will open both days at 5:50 p.m. Cost will be $5.00 for adults, $2.00 for students and senior citizens and children under the age of 4 are admitted free. No KSAC, District 9 or season passes will be accepted. Proceeds from the game go toward KSAC Scholarships and Awards.
