Coudersport season ended by Bishop Carroll

EBENSBURG, Pa. — The Coudersport Lady Falcons were no match for District 6 champion Bishop Carroll as the Lady Huskies held the District 9 Class A fourth-placer to six points through three quarters in a 47-15 rout at Central Cambria High School Saturday.

Bishop Carroll (23-4) led 24-4 at halftime and 37-6 through three quarters. Alyssa Martinazzi led the Lady Huskies with 20 points.

Emma Rae Easton scored eight points to lead Coudersport, which finished 22-4. Haley Keck score Ally Easton blocked four shots. The Lady Falcons weren’t playing without point guard and third-leading scorer Emily Morey, who was on a school trip.

Bishop Carroll advances to the second round where it’ll meet Quigley Catholic Wednesday.
