JOHNSONBURG 70, SMETHPORT 35

JOHNSONBURG, Pa. – Austin Green netted 12 points and Ben Freeburg added eight points and five rebounds to help Johnsonburg double up visiting Smethport, 70-35.

Tyler Singer and Nick Bliss each added seven points for the Rams with Kacey Raubenstrauch dishing out six assists to go with five tallies and Logan Notorianni adding six points and five rebounds.

Noah Costa, Brandon Peterson and Conner Alfieri each scored seven points for Smethport.

AUSTIN 58, TIDIOUTE CHARTER 48

AUSTIN, Pa. – Blake Burgett poured in 23 points to help Austin move to 4-0 on the year with a 58-48 win over visiting Tidioute Charter.

Mason Valenti added 13 points for the Panthers with Jackson Glover chipping in 11 tallies.

Jared Veasy netted 22 points for Tidioute Charter.

RIDGWAY 51, BROOKVILLE 38

RIDGWAY, Pa. – Neil MacDonald and Andy Breier combined to score 39 points as Ridgway posted a 51-38 win over visiting Brookville.

MacDonald scored 10 of his 24 points in the fourth quarter, going 6-for-6 from the foul line and leading an Elkers’ 10-for-10 effort from the charity stripe the last eight minutes.

Breier added 15 points for the Elkers. Johnny Mitchell scored eight points.

Ridgway led 24-16 at halftime and took a 35-24 lead into the fourth quarter.

Trenton Gilhousen scored 12 points for the Raiders.

BROCKWAY 63, DUBOIS 60

BROCKWAY, Pa. – Scoring 42 combined points in the middle two quarters, Brockway overcame a slow start and knocked off visiting DuBois, 63-60.

The Beavers led 19-7 at the end of the first quarter but were outscored 42-27 in the third and third quarters combined including 21-10 in the third.

Carter Adams had a game-high 27 points for Brockway 13 in the second quarter. Noah Vokes chipped in with 16 points and Zane Puhala had 11.

Kenny Garvey and Chase Husted paced DuBois with 15 points each with Justin Manduley adding 12 points.

CAMERON COUNTY 60, PUNXSUTAWNEY 48

PUNXSUTAWNEY, Pa. – Behind 19 points from Caden Beldin Cameron County picked up an early statement road win, 60-48, at Punxsutawney.

Marcus Brown chipped in 15 points for the Red Raiders who also got 12 tallies from Adam Shaffer.

Ethan Blose led Punxsutawney with 16 points.

BRADFORD 62, DUBOIS CENTRAL CATHOLIC 58

DUBOIS, Pa. – Danny Manion had a monster game with 20 points and 15 rebounds to help visiting Bradford to a 62-58 win over DuBois Central Catholic.

Brice Whelan added 11 points, nine rebounds and three helpers for the Owls with Tyler Gigliotti adding 13 points.

Justin Miknis paced all scorers with 27 points and added 12 rebounds for DCC with Thomas Grecco adding 10 points and 15 rebounds and John Swalligan 10 points.

OTTO-ELDRED 74, SHEFFIELD 27

SHEFFIELD, Pa. – Cameron Grigsby had a career-best 18 points to lift visiting Otto-Eldred to a 74-27 win over Sheffield.

Jordan Sherwood added a double-double with 12 points and 12 rebounds with Trey Dalton scoring 13 points and Cole Sebastian 12 points. Dylan Close ran the offense with nine assists and added two points.

Tyler Hepinger had 10 points for Sheffield.

NORTH CLARION 95, FOREST AREA 66

FRILLS CORNERS, Pa. – Nathan Banner had 18 points and was one of five North Clarion players in double digits, as the Wolves ran by visiting Forest Area, 95-66.

Sam Minich added 13 points for North Clarion with Zander Hargenrader and Kyle Mills each scoring 12 points and Korey Mills 10.

In all 12 North Clarion players scored.

Seth Berlin led all scorers with 24 points for Forest Area while completing a double-double with 12 rebounds. Dillon DiCorpo chipped in nine points and five rebounds and Manny Tirado had nine points.

CENTRAL-MARTINSBURG 56, CLEARFIELD 45

HYDE, Pa. – Joey Smith scored 21 points to lead visiting Central-Martinsburg to a 56-45 win over Clearfield in Mountain League action.

Preston Karstetter added 16 points for the Dragons.

Cade Walker had 18 points and six rebounds for Clearfield.
