DUBOIS CENTRAL CATHOLIC 55, PHILIPSBURG-OSCEOLA 39

DUBOIS, Pa. – Behind 21 Justin Miknis points DuBois Central Catholic knocked off visiting Philipsburg-Osceola, 55-39.

Miknis hit three 3-pointers and was a perfect 6 of 6 from the free throw line helping DCC go 12 of 14 from the line on the night.

Brandon Walker added 12 points for the Cardinals with Anthony Kness chipping in with eight tallies.

DUBOIS 51, BELLEFONTE 45

DUBOIS, Pa. – Chase Husted and Alex Beers both had double-doubles to help DuBois hold off visiting Bellefonte, 51-45.

Husted had 10 points and 14 rebounds and Beers had 13 points and 10 rebounds for the Beavers, who led 29-16 at halftime before being outscored 23-9 in the third quarter.

Justin Manduley added 12 points for DuBois, while Ben McCartney netted a game-high 26 points while hitting six 3-pointers for Bellefonte. Caleb Rockey chipped in with 15 for the Red Raiders.

CLARION-LIMESTONE 88, VENANGO CATHOLIC 44

OIL CITY, Pa. – Ian Callen exploded for 31 points, 10 rebounds and six steals, as visiting Clarion-Limestone doubled up Venango Catholic, 88-44, in KSAC North action.

Deion Deas had his second 20-point game in as many nights for the Lions with 25 tallies, as he hit five 3-pointers. Christian Smith chipped in a double-double of 16 points and 10 rebounds with Hayden Called adding nine points.

Josh Puleo and Andrew Burda each scored 15 points for Venango Catholic with Ben Gillispie adding 11.

UNION 67, A-C VALLEY 60

FOXBURG, Pa. – Union nearly squandered a 22-point lead but held on for a 67-60 KSAC South road win over A-C Valley.

After falling behind by 22, A-C Valley closed to within four with 1 ½ to play but couldn’t get any closer.

Lucas Bowser had 22 points and 18 rebounds to lead Union with Nolan Cumberland adding 14 points and five rebounds and Reice Saylor 13 points.

Russ Carr paced A-C Valley with 21 points and six steals. Eddie Stevanus chipped in 13 points and eight rebounds, Dalton Callander had 10 points and freshman Tanner Merwin came off the bench to score eight points, come away with five steals and dish out five assists.

SMETHPORT 49, GALETON 34

SMETHPORT, Pa. – Eight different Smethport players scored to help the Hubbers to a 49-34 win over visiting Galeton in North Tier League action.

Caleb Lutz paced Smethport with 11 points, Brandan Peterson had nine and Conner Alfieri eight.

Evan Brooks netted a game-best 16 for Galeton with Joel Griffen chipping in 11 points.

CAMERON COUNTY 82, PORT ALLEGANY 42

EMPORIUM, Pa. – Adam Shaffer had the game of his life scoring 38 points while making 14 baskets, three of them outside the arc, and going 7 of 11 from the charity stripe to pace an 82-42 Cameron County win over visiting Port Allegany in North Tier League play.

Marcus Brown added 12 points for the Red Raiders with Caden Beldin scoring 11 and Ty Bauer eight.

Howie Stuckey had 14 points to lead Port Allegany with Jordan Card adding 13.

OTTO-ELDRED 55, AUSTIN 28

DUKE CENTER, Pa. – Cameron Grigsby scored 14 points to help Otto-Eldred hand visiting Austin its first loss the season, 55-28, in North Tier League play.

Jordan Sherwood added eight points for the Terrors, Sawyer Drummond had seven and Andrew Sheeler contributed three points, eight assists, five steals and five rebounds.

Blake Burgett paced Austin with six tallies.

COUDERSPORT 71, KANE 39

COUDERSPORT, Pa. – Owen Chambers, Jared Green and Hunter Ricke combined to score 47 points to lead Coudersport to a 71-39 win over visiting Kane.

Chambers led the Falcons with 18 points with Green adding 15 and Ricke 14.

Chad Greville led Kane with 15 points, Reed Williams had nine tallies and Tommy Holt eight.

BUCKTAIL 43, NORTHERN POTTER 37

RENOVO, Pa. – Behind 16 Liam Dwyer points Bucktail knocked off visiting Northern Potter, 43-37.

Gabe Conway chipped in 10 for Bucktail.

Carter Anderson led Northern Potter with nine points with Holden Cowburn chipping in eight points.

GIRLS

A-C VALLEY 66, UNION 36

RIMERSBURG, Pa. – Ellie Thompson, Annie Viertel and Kylee Eaton netted 36 combined points to lead A-C Valley to a 66-36 win at Union in KSAC South action.

Thompson led the Lady Falcons with 15 points, Viertel added 11 and Eaton had 10.

Frankee Remmick led all scorers with a career-high 28 points for Union.

CRANBERRY 50, EISENHOWER 21

SENECA, Pa. – Erin Merryman had 15 points and four steals to lead Cranberry to a 50-21 win over visiting Eisenhower.

Ava Ferringer added eight points and nine rebounds with Hannah Duncan chipping in eight points. Malliah Schreck had six points and 13 rebounds.

WEST SHAMOKIN 39, PUNXSUTAWNEY 23

PUNXSUTAWNEY, Pa. – Olivia Fusaro scored 22 points to lead West Shamokin to a 39-23 win at Punxsutawney.

Leah Miller had 11 points, 11 rebounds and four blocked shots for Punxsutawney.

ST. MARYS 37, CURWENSVILLE 24

ST. MARYS, Pa. – St. Marys used a balanced attack to dispatch visiting Curwensville, 37-24.

Lauren Eckert led the Lady Dutch with nine points with Kaylee Muccio and Samantha Hayes each adding seven points.

Madi Weber paced Curwensville with a game-high 16 points.
