ST. MARYS, Pa. – With the conclusion of the first-round matches in District 9 Class 1A volleyball, the quarterfinal round in Class 1A is now set, and the District has also changed the date on the Class 3A semifinal match.
The Class 3A semifinal match is No. 3 Bradford at No. 2 Punxsutawney and it will now be played at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 29. It was originally scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30.
Meanwhile, the Class 1A quarterfinals are as follows with all matches at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 29:
No. 8 Johnsonburg at No. 1 Elk County Catholic
No. 7 Otto-Eldred at No. 2 Clarion
No. 11 DuBois Central Catholic at No. 3 A-C Valley
No. 5 Oswayo Valley at No. 4 Cranberry
The Class 2A semifinals will be played Wednesday, Oct. 30 at 6:30 p.m. with No. 4 Moniteau traveling to No. 1 Brookville and No. 3 Redbank Valley traveling to No. 2 Kane.
