BROOKVILLE, PA. – District 9 has set the playoff football schedule for this coming week and it starts with action on Thursday night and continues through Saturday.
On Thursday, the District 8-9 3A title game will be played at Clarion University’s Memorial Stadium with top-seeded Karns City taking on third-seeded Perry.
Action continues with a pair of games Friday.
In District 5-6-9 Class 4A action, top-seeded Clearfield and second-seeded Johnstown will square off at Hollidaysburg for the subregional championship, while the District 9 Class 2A title will be decided in Brockway between top-seeded Kane, seeking a third straight D9 title after winning 2A the last two years, and third-seeded Clarion.
Action concludes Saturday with a District 9 1A semifinals doubleheader at DuBois’ Mansell Stadium.
At 1 p.m. second-seeded Clarion-Limestone and third-seeded Elk County Catholic lock horns followed by top-seeded Ridgway taking on fourth-seeded Curwensville at 6 p.m.
