The Elk County Catholic Lady Crusaders will have to wait at least a day to take a shot at a state championship game berth since Monday’s PIAA Class A softball semifinal game with District 10 champion Cochranton at Slippery Rock University was postponed to Tuesday at the same time as Monday (3 p.m.) because of forecasted inclement weather.
As of Monday morning at 10:20 a.m., two other PIAA softball games and one PIAA baseball game was postponed. The PIAA Softball Championships are scheduled to be played Friday at Penn State University. The other Class A semifinal — Millersburg vs. Conemaugh Valley — is still scheduled to be played today at Bald Eagle Area High School at 1 p.m.
