COUDERSPORT 85, AUSTIN 41

COUDERSPORT, Pa. – Having four players score at least 15 points, Coudersport secured its fifth consecutive NTL title with an 85-41 win over visiting Austin.

Travis Gleason led the Falcons (17-3 overall, 14-1 NTL), who bounced back from seeing Cameron County break its 77-game NTL win streak Tuesday, with 18 points and eight rebounds. Dillon Keglovits had a double-double with 15 points and 10 boards, Hayden Keck added 15 points and four steals and Kolby VanWhy also scored 15 points.

Austin (10-11, 5-10) hung around for a little over a quarter and trailed 17-14 at the end of eight minutes before falling behind 43-28 at halftime and 65-33 going to the fourth quarter.

Parker Glover led the Panthers with 15 points with Jackson Glover adding eight points, five rebounds, five assists and four steals and Joseph Glover Jr. and Skylar Crawford seven points apiece.

RIDGWAY 53, BROCKWAY 42

RIDGWAY, Pa. – Strong second-half performances from Zack Zameroski and Matt Dush helped Ridgway overcome a slow start and beat visiting Brockway, 53-42, in AML action.

Zameroski scored 16 of his game-high 19 points in the second half with Dush adding 10 of his 15 after halftime to help the Elkers (14-6 overall, 6-3 AML South) overcome a 24-21 halftime deficit.

Ridgway actually trailed 16-8 after on quarter of play but got back within three at the break thanks to Dan Park, who scored seven of his 13 points in the second quarter.

Brockway (6-14, 3-7) got 12 points from Alec Freemer, who hit three 3-pointers. Marcus Copelli added 11 points, including six in the first quarter, and Jared Marchiori chipped in eight points.

ELK COUNTY CATHOLIC 48, ST. MARYS 39

ST. MARYS, Pa. – Using a balanced scoring effort, shorthanded Elk County Catholic used a strong first half to pick up a 48-39 road D9 League win over crosstown rival St. Marys.

The Crusaders (20-1 overall, 9-1 D9 League), playing without leading scorer Regis Wortman, got 10 points from Mark Kraus, nine from Will Uberti, seven from Isaac Wortman, six each from Ben Hoffman and Leo Gregory and five from Carter Lindemuth.

Uberti and Charlie Breindel each hit first-quarter 3-pointers to help ECC take a 13-7 lead after eight minutes, and that lead grew to 26-13 at halftime.

But St. Marys (5-15, 2-8) made a strong second-half push and outscored the Crusaders 16-8 in the third quarter to get back in the basketball game.

Luke Lasko and Drake Caskey each hit 3-pointers during the third quarter with Lasko, Mitchell Reiter and Nick Catalone each scoring four points in the frame.

Reiter led the Dutch with 10 points with Lasko and Catalone each scoring eight and Caskey six.

PORT ALLEGANY 71, GALETON 41

GALETON, Pa. – Howie Stuckey drained seven 3-pointers on his way to a game-high 36 points, as visiting Port Allegany rolled past Galeton, 71-41.

Stuckey hit five first-quarter 3-pointers while scoring 17 points in the opening eight minutes helping the Gators to an early 23-8 lead.

Jordan Card added 16 points in the win for Port Allegany.

Noah Shutt led Galeton with 17 points with Ty Stover scoring eight and Trey Kalacinski six.
