Jan. 25, 2020 Girls’ Hoops: Lary Gets Hot from the Outside in Bradford’s Win at Coudy; Ridgway Tops Port A

BRADFORD 57, COUDERSPORT 43

COUDERSPORT, Pa. – Hannah Lary got hot from the outside hitting seven 3-pointers while scoring a game-high 24 points as visiting Bradford charged past Coudersport, 57-43.

Alana Benson also hit three triples – Bradford hit 11 3-pointers as a team – and added 20 points for the Lady Owls, while Erica Marshall chipped in nine points.

Sarah Chambers and Lauren Stimaker combined to score 33 of Coudersport’s 43 points with Chambers netting a team-best 17 and Stimaker adding 16.

RIDGWAY 38, PORT ALLEGANY 32

RIDGWAY, Pa. – Gabbi Rohr scored eight of her game-high 18 points in the fourth quarter to help Ridgway rally past visiting Port Allegany, 38-32.

The Lady Elkers trailed by five, 26-21, going to the fourth quarter before outscoring the Lady Gators 17-5 in the final eight minutes to pull out the come-from-behind win.

Christina Fullem chipped in nine points for Ridgway in the victory with Carli Thomas adding seven.

Carley Barnett hit a pair of 3-pointers and finished with eight points and five steals to pace Port Allegany with Bree Garzel adding six points, five rebounds and four assists.

MERCER 55, UNION 43

RIMERSBURG, Pa. – MacKenzie Baker, Darby Miller and Delaney Fisher combined to score 41 points to lead visiting Mercer to a 55-43 win over Union.

Baker led the Lady Mustangs with 15 points, Miller added 14 and Fischer 12.

Dominika Logue had a double-double of 17 points and 11 rebounds for Union while Keira Croyle added 10 points and Hailey Kriebel nine.
