Kane, Pa. – A trip to the District 9 Class 2A volleyball championship match is at stake when third-seeded Redbank Valley, the defending champion, heads north to take on second-seeded Kane at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday with all the action airing on exploreRadio via exploreClarion.com and D9Sports.com
Airtime for the 6:30 p.m. match will be 6:20 p.m. from Kane High School with Mike Kalinowski and Chris Rossetti on the call.
Redbank Valley enters the match with a record of 14-4 overall, and the Lady Bulldogs have won 12 of their past 13 matches,
Kane comes into the match at 11-5 overall and is just 3-4 in its previous seven matches including losses to Johnsonburg and Bradford last week.
The winner of this match plays in the title game at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, at St. Marys High School against the winner Wednesday’s other semifinal pitting Moniteau at Brookville.
