SHIPPENVILLE, Pa. – As the regular season draws towards a conclusion, things settled down in the Oct. 24, 2017, Allegheny Grille of Foxburg D9Sports.com Football Rankings.
All 10 teams from last week’s ranking remain in the Top 10 with just slight movement in the middle of the rankings with Bradford and Ridgway bumping up one spot and Curwensville and Brockway going down one spot.
Kane (9-0) remains on top followed by Clarion (8-0) and Brookville (8-1), the same top three as last week. Bradford (7-2) moved up a spot to No. 4 after beating previous No. 4 Curwensville (7-2), which dropped one spot to No. 5.
Ridgway (6-3) also moved up a spot to No. 6 after a win over unranked Elk County Catholic, while Brockway (6-3) fell one spot to No. 7 after falling to Kane. Karns City (6-3), Clearfield (5-4) and Otto-Eldred (6-3) remain in the eighth through 10th spots respectively after wins.
There are a couple of Top 10 matchups this week with Kane hosting Otto-Eldred in the AML Title Game and Clearfield traveling to Karns City. Two Top 10 teams are off this week with both Brockway and Bradford sitting home waiting for the postseason to start.
