SHIPPENVILLE, Pa. – Jumbled is the best word to describe the Oct. 3, 2017, Allegheny Grille of Foxburg D9Sports.com Football Rankings with all 10 teams remaining the same as last week but six of them changing positions within the Top 10.
Kane (6-0) continues to hold the top spot followed by No. 2 Clarion (5-0) as those two teams are the only remaining unbeaten squads in District 9. Brookville (5-1) jumps from No. 6 to No. 3 with Ridgway (5-1) holding firm at No. 4 followed by Curwensville (5-1), which leaped from No. 9 to No. 5 after beating previous No. 3 Brockway (5-1), which dropped to No. 6.
After losing its first game to Ridgway, Bradford (5-1) is down to No. 7 after being No. 5 last week, Karns City (4-2) remains at No. 8, Redbank Valley (3-2) moves up a spot to No. 9 and Clearfield (3-3) drops from No. 7 to No. 10.
Top 10 games this week including Clarion traveling to Redbank Valley for a Thursday night contest, Ridgway hitting the road to Curwensville and Kane going to Bradford.
