SHIPPENVILLE, Pa. – Four teams moved up in the Sept. 26, 2017, Allegheny Grille of Foxburg D9Sports.com Football Rankings including Brockway jumping up one spot to No. 3.
The Rovers (5-0) beat previously ranked No. 3 Ridgway (4-1) by a field goal Friday night. The Elkers drop one spot to No. 4.
Kane (5-0) solidified its top billing with a convincing win over previous No. 5 Curwensville (4-1), which dropped to No. 9, while Clarion (4-0) avoided an upset at the hands of Clarion-Limestone and stays at No. 2.
Bradford (5-0) is now No. 5 after beating Elk County Catholic and Brookville (4-1) jumps to No. 6 after taking care of No. 10 Redbank Valley), who remains in the 10th spot. Clearfield (3-2) bumped up two spots with a win over Central Mountain to No. 7 and Karns City (3-2) remains at No. 8 after getting past Punxsutawney in a shootout.
There is a pair of games involving ranked teams this week with Bradford traveling to Ridgway and Brockway taking on Curwensville.
