ST. MARYS & FOXBURG – St. Marys running back Dan Fox and A-C Valley
quarterback Mike Stewart are the D9Sports.Com District 9 Co-Football
Players of the Week for the Fourth Week of the 2001 season.
Both players had outstanding games Friday night.
Fox rushed for 339 yards and three touchdowns on 38 carries in leading
St. Marys to a 22-11 win over Brookville.
Stewart was 10-for-15 passing for 221 yards and four touchdowns, while
rushing for 128 yards and two more touchdowns on nine carries in helping
A-C Valley to a 57-28 win over Union.
Thirteen other players playing in District 9 leagues are also being
honored this week as honorable mention recipients. Their names appear
below.
