DuBOIS – DuBois running back Derek Marshall is the
D9Sports.Com District 9 Football Player of the Week for the Sixth Week of
the 2001 season after his school-record breaking performance in a 28-7 win
over St. Marys Friday night. Marshall ran for a school record 345 yards on 44 carries while scoring four touchdowns in the win. The 345 yards breaks the previous record of 339 yards held by his brother Justin and set during a 1998 game against Bradford. Fourteen other players playing in District 9 leagues are also being honored this week as honorable mention recipients. Their names appear below.
