| CURWENSVILLE – Curwensville wide receiver Mark Records is
the D9Sports.Com District 9 Football Player of the Week for the Seventh
Week of the 2001 season after his performance in a 27-7 win over Brockway
Friday night that locked up the AML South Title for the Golden Tide.
Records caught five passes for 149 yards and scored two touchdowns,
including the game’s first score, to help the Golden Tide beat the
Rovers.
Fourteen other players playing in District 9 leagues are also being
honored this week as honorable mention recipients including DuBois’
Derek Marshall and Karns City’s Billy Graham who were just narrowly
beaten out for the award by Records. Their names appear below.
