CLEARFIELD'S SHAW FOOTBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK FOR WEEK NINE

CLARION – Clearfield’s Todd Shaw is the D9Sports.com District 9 Football Player of the Week for the Ninth Week of the 2001 season.

Shaw had four catches 130 yards and two touchdowns while helping the Bison to a 21-0 win over DuBois Friday night at Clearfield. With the win Clearfield, which has won eight straight games, claimed a share of the D9 League Title along with Bradford and DuBois for the second straight year. The Bison will play Bradford, the only team to beat them this season, Nov. 9 in the District 9 Class AAA Championship game at DuBois.

Fourteen other players playing in District 9 leagues are also being honored this week as honorable mention recipients. Their names appear below.
