FIRST ROUND PIAA OPPONENTS, DATES, TIMES AND LOCATIONS FOR DISTRICT 9 TEAMS ANNOUNCED

BROCKWAY – Three District 9 football teams will continue their seasons next weekend in the opening round of the PIAA Playoffs.

Clarion-Limestone, Brockway and Clearfield all earned the right to advance to the PIAA playoffs by winning District 9 Championships this weekend.

And now the opponents, sites, times and dates of those PIAA Playoff games have been announced according to District 9 committee member Gary Elder.

In Class A, Clarion-Limestone will take on District 10 champion West Middlesex at 7 p.m. Friday at Sharon High School.

In Class AA, Brockway will take on District 10 champion Slippery Rock at 7 p.m. Friday at Punxsutawney High School.

In Class AAA, Clearfield will take on District 6 champion Indian Valley at 7 p.m. Friday at DuBois High School.
