KANE CLINCHES AML SOUTH TITLE
OCT. 11 WEEK SEVEN - Kane 30, Brockway 13

BROCKWAY – After a sluggish first half, the Kane Wolves scored 30 unanswered points in the second half to drop Brockway 30-13 to clinch the AML South. The Wolves were down 13-0 going into the locker room. Matt Burton sparked the Wolves comeback with 155 yards rushing and three TD's all in the second half.

The Rovers got on the board first when Jeremy Sickeri went 24 yards for a touchdown early in the second quarter. The PAT put the Rovers ahead 7-0.

Brockway hit pay dirt on their next possession when Martino scored on a 15 yard run. The PAT failed and the Rovers led 13-0. The touchdown was set up by an interception by Jon Cantafio.

Kane couldn't get on track and trailed by 13 points at the half.

The Wolves came out focused in the second half and the defense rose to the occasion, stopping the Rovers on their opening possession of the half.

Matt Burton broke loose for a 72 yard touchdown on Kane's first play from scrimmage in the third quarter. Cecchetti's PAT was good and Kane trailed 13-7.

On Brockway's next possession, Jake Anderson picked off John Himes and returned the pick 35 yards for a touchdown. The PAT was good and Kane led 14-13 and had the momentum going their way.

Andy Cecchetti picked off Himes on the Rover's next possession and the Wolves would drive 34 yards on runs by Burton. The drive was capped off by a 2 yard Burton touchdown run. The PAT was good and Kane's lead was 21-13.

The wheels continued to fall off for the Rovers and on their next possession, Jordan Martin blocked a punt for a safety and Kane led 23-13.

After another Brockway fumble Burton would add a 28 yard touchdown in the fourth quarter with another good PAT kick, Kane rolled to a 30-13 win to clinch their first AML South Title. Burton finished the half with 155 yards on 15 carries with 3 touchdowns.
