CLEARFIELD-CURWENSVILLE CANCEL NOV. 1 GAME; CURWENSVILLE SCHEDULE HOMER-CENTER NOV. 1 |
| CLEARFIELD – The athletic departments of Clearfield Area
School District and Curwensville Area School District have mutually agreed
that the Clearfield vs. Curwensville varsity football game scheduled for
Friday, Nov. 1, at the Bison Sports Complex will not be played this year.
"As in the past two years, postseason playoff involvement has made it necessary to cancel this game," a news release from Clearfield High School Oct. 22 said. Curwensville has scheduled a home game with Homer-Center for Nov. 1 at 7 p.m. The Bisons await the completion of the regular season to announced their postseason pairings. "The Coaches, Administration and Boards of Education of both Clearfield and Curwensville have worked cooperatively in the best interest of all student-athletes as these arrangements have been finalized," the news release said. |
