| Both District 9 football teams remaining in the PIAA playoffs will be back in action
Friday night.
In Class A, D9 Champion Curwensville will face District 10 Champion Sharpsville at 7 p.m. at Clarion University’s Memorial Stadium. The game is a quarterfinal game. In Class AA, D9 Champion Brookville takes on District 10 Champion Grove City at 7 p.m. at Slippery Rock University’s N. Kerr Thompson Stadium. The game is a quarterfinal game. The winner of the Curwensville-Sharpsville game will face the winner of the Rochester-Berlin Brothersvalley game Dec. 3 or Dec. 4 in the Western Finals, PIAA semifinals. The winner of the Brookville-Grove City game will face the winner of the Seton-LaSalle-Tyrone game Dec. 3 or Dec. 4 in the Western Finals, PIAA semifinals. |
