C-L FORFEITS FRIDAY'S GAME WITH BROOKVILLE

STRATTANVILLE – For the second consecutive week, the Clarion-Limestone football team will be forfeiting a game.

C-L athletic director Rick Beggs announced Wednesday that the Lions will forfeit this Friday’s home game vs. Brookville. C-L forfeited last week’s game at North East.

"We apologize for any inconvenience this may create," Beggs said in an e-mail to District 9 media outlets Wednesday. "We intend to resume our schedule with the Keystone game Oct. 6."

Brookville moves to 5-0 on the season with the forfeit win, while C-L drops to 1-4.
