*Tackle stats may be adjusted to reflect the different ways teams do tackles. The general rule of thumb for tackles is no more than two per play, but some teams award more than two per play. In order to not punish the players whose teams do tackle stats by the two-per play rule, an adjustment is made. Research indicates that in any given high school or college football game, 65 percent of the total possible tackles (figured by total plays that could have a tackle times 2) is the average. Any team whose tackles are not between 60 and 70 percent of the total possible tackles have been adjusted to fit this criteria. An across the board addition or subtraction of tackles is made for each player to bring teams within compliance. This is the only fair way to access actual tackles in District 9. Therefore, the tackle numbers you see above are estimates in some cases.
