SHIPPENVILLE For the second week in a row, Clearfield quarterback Jarrin Campman is the D9Sports.com District 9 Football Player of the Week for Week Eight of the 2007 season. Campman, who was co-Player of the Week with Karns Citys Anthony Stimac last week, had a monster game in the Bisons key 28-13 win at St. Marys Friday night. The victory gives Clearfield a leg up on St. Marys for a home playoff game in Class AAA. Campman, who is the first two-time winner of the award this season, played a role in all four touchdowns running for two, throwing for one and returning a fumble for one. He ran 24 times for a game-high 102 yard and was 10-for-22 passing for 130 yards. In a strong week for District 9 players, Campman got competition for Player of the Week from Redbank Valleys Alex Bladel (207 yards rushing, 2 TDs), Kanes Dustin Moran (125 yards rushing, 3 TDs) and Moniteaus Tyler Armagost (286 yards passing, 2 TDs; 20 yards rushing, 2 TDs in a losing effort). Those three players join 12 additional players as members of the District 9 Honor Roll this week. The honor roll recipients are listed below. D9Sports.Com is a volunteer web site in its eighth year of covering athletics within the PIAAs District 9 located at www.d9sports.com. The site is not affiliated with the PIAA in any way. The site covers all 26 football teams playing in District 9. For more information on the site, please visit it or e-mail the staff at d9sports@usachoice.net. The Player of the Week award and the Honor Roll are chosen by D9Sports.Coms editors. The awards, which are given from Week One through Week 10, are the only weekly awards given out in District 9 that represent the district as a whole.
