QUESTION & ANSWER
Q: It seems like year-in-and-year-out Bradford always has a great running game and two or three of the top running backs in District 9. Why do you think that is?
A: I think that we have had a great line for many years or at least since I’ve been here and that makes it easy for us backs to run.

Q: As a follow up to that last question, as a running back for a team that is almost exclusively a running football team, do you feel any extra pressure to perform at a top level week in and week out knowing that it is going to be up to the backs to pick up the bulk of the yardage?
A: There’s not really a lot of pressure, because, like you said, we have three great backs. So if one of us is getting stuffed the other two can pick up the slack.

Q: How do the other running backs - Nick Johnson and Dan McMurtrie - compliment you? How do you guys get along? Do you guys care who gets the ball or is about the team concept?
A: Nick and Dan are both great runners with different styles. We compliment each other well. Even though Dan is a smaller guy he is tough. He and I are more power runners while Nick’s got the speed and the moves. We’re all good friends. We don’t care who gets the most carries or yards. It’s always about the team.

Q: How nerve wracking was last year’s District 9 Class AAA title game that you guys won 37-30 in double overtime over Clearfield? Is that the most exciting game you have ever played in?
A:  Last years D9 Championship game was definitely the most exciting game that I’ve ever played in. But for some reason it wasn’t as nerve wracking as you’d think. I never thought for one second that we were going to lose that game, and no one on our team thought that either. So it was more fun than stressful, just going out and having fun and doing whatever it takes to win.

Q: What are your plans after high school?
A: To attend a four year college and play football.
