QUESTION & ANSWER |
Q: Because of an injury to Jerico Weitzel, you have probably
had to play a role that you weren’t expecting to play coming into the season. How
have you adjusted to that role?
|
A: Losing Jerico on the field was a big
loss for the team. He is a very smart and
physical player. Still having him on the
sideline is an important asset for us. When
he was injured in the game against Smethport, I knew I would have to step up and
become a leader. Going into every week I
make it my goal to keep the team together and working hard.

|
Q: As a follow up to the last question, how do you believe the team has
responded to Jerico being out?
|
A: Throughout this season a number of my
teammates have suffered injuries and the loss of family members.
We have had to pull together as a team and get though these obstacles. We are
mentally a strong team and we have responded very well to everything that has
happened.
