KANE VS. MERCYHURST PREP AT ERIE - PIAA CLASS A FIRST ROUND

LOCATION: Veteran's Stadium in Erie (Erie Strong Vincent High School Contact Number: 814-874-6514)

DATE/TIME: Saturday, Dec. 1, 1 p.m.

DIRECTIONS FROM: Kane

1. Take US 6 West to North Main Street/Route 8/William Flinn High Way

2. Turn slight right onto North Main Street/Route 8/William Flinn High Way

3. Turn left onto Perry Street/PA-97 which becomes Perry Highway

4. Turn slight right onto Perry Highway which becomes PA-505

5. Turn left onto West 26th Street. Stadium is at the corner of West 26th Street and State Street. 

Only "on-street parking" is available

DIRECTIONS FROM: Mercyhurst Prep

1. take East Grandview Blvd. southwest toward Parade Blvd.

2. Turn right onto Parade Blvd and stay straight onto Parade Street, which becomes Marvin Ave.

4. Turn left onto Pine Ave./Route 8

5. Turn slight right onto Parade Street/Route 8

6. Turn left onto East 26th Street

JEANNETTE VS. KARNS CITY AT CLARION UNIVERSITY - PIAA CLASS AA FIRST ROUND

LOCATION: Clarion University's Memorial Stadium (Clarion University Athletic Department Contact Number: 814-393-1997)

DATE/TIME: Saturday, Dec. 1, 1 p.m.

DIRECTIONS FROM: Jeannette 

1. Take either Route 30 east or back roads to Route 66 North

2. Take Route 66 North (portion toll) north to Kittanning

3. Continue to follow Route 66 North as it merges with Route 28 North so that you are now on Route 28/66 North

4. Follow Route 28/66 North to New Bethlehem

5. At the second traffic light in New Bethlehem make a left onto Route 66 North (Follow signs for Route 66 North and Clarion)

6. Follow Route 66 North across Interstate 80. Do not get onto I-80/Route 66 North but instead continue straight. This is now the Greenville Pike Extension.

7. Follow Greenville Pike into downtown Clarion passing Clarion University on your right.

8. At the traffic light at Wendy's/Wood Street continue straight to the traffic light at Main Street/US 322

9. Make a left onto Main Street/US 322 (left-hand turning lane) and follow Main Street to the other end of town (approx. 1 mile)

10. At the western edge of Clarion, Main Street/US 322 makes a 90 degree bend and Memorial Stadium is straight in front of you. 

Stadium parking is available on the left before you reach the stadium itself. If you require handicap parking, continue past the main parking to the stadium gate entrance on your right. If stadium parking is full alternative parking is available at Clarion High School. To reach Clarion High School make a RIGHT at the ally way immediately past Northwest Savings Bank's Drive-thru bank which is directly across from Memorial Stadium. Follow the ally for one block and make a left onto Second Ave. Clarion High School is directly in front of you and is about a block walk from the stadium.

DIRECTIONS FROM: Karns City High School

1. Take Route 268 to Route 68 North 

2. Take Route 68 North through East Brady, Rimersburg and Sligo (at the blinker light in Sligo, make a right to continue on Route 68 North).

3. Route 68 North eventually crosses over Interstate 80 and the Clarion Wal-Mart will be on your left once you cross I-80

4. Go straight at the light at Wal-Mart and continue straight at the light at the Clarion Mall. Route 68 North becomes South Fifth Ave. past the mall.

5. Continue down the hill and the back up on South Fifth Ave. At the next stop light continue straight until you reach Main Street/Route 322 in downtown Clarion.

6. At the stop light on Main Street, make a left (left-hand turning lane is available) and follow Main Street to the edge of town. Memorial Stadium is directly in front of you. The road bends 90 degree to the right. You will pass the stadium and immediately past the stadium is a right-hand turn for stadium parking. Handicap parking is available at the upper portion of the stadium proper (You would basically go straight instead of following Main Street to the right driving into the gates at the stadium). 

If stadium parking is full alternative parking is available at Clarion High School. To reach Clarion High School make a RIGHT at the ally way immediately past Northwest Savings Bank's Drive-thru bank which is directly across from Memorial Stadium. Follow the ally for one block and make a left onto Second Ave. Clarion High School is directly in front of you and is about a block walk from the stadium.
