SHIPPENVILLE Clearfield quarterback/defensive back Jarrin Campman, a senior, is the RRR Roadhouse D9Sports.com District 9 Football Player of the Week for Week Four of the 2008 season. Campman earns the award after helping to lead the Bisons (3-1) to a 35-34 upset win over Tyrone, which entered the game with a 35-game regular-season winning streak and ranked No. 4 in Class AA by the PA Football News. He was 9 of 13 passing for 137 yards and two touchdowns and added 19 carries for 66 yards and a touchdown. Its the fourth time in his career that Campman has earned the away, he earned it in three straight week last season, and the 14th time since the award started in 2000 that a Bison has won the Player of the Week award. Campman wasnt without strong competition for the award this week narrowing edging out Redbank Valleys Alex Bladel (129 yards rushing, 3 TDs; game-winning TD in overtime) in the voting. In addition to Campman, 15 District 9 players, including Bladel, appear on the RRR Roadhouse D9Sports.com District 9 Honor Roll this week.
