SHIPPENVILLE – Clearfield senior running back Isiah Morgan is the RRR Roadhouse D9Sports.com District 9 Football Player of the Week for Week Five of the 2008 season.

Morgan exploded for a career-best 348 yards and five touchdowns on just 22 carries (15.8 yards per carry) Friday night in a 56-25 Bisons win over Lewistown. The 348 yards are believed to be the most in District 9 since Clearfield’s Dave Richards ran for 363 yards and seven touchdowns in 2002.

It’s the second week in a row that Clearfield has had the player of the week – Jarrin Campman won last week’s award, and the 15th time since the award started in 2000 that a Bison has won Player of the Week honors.

In addition to Morgan, 17 District 9 players, including Bladel, appear on the RRR Roadhouse D9Sports.com District 9 Honor Roll this week.

The RRR Roadhouse located in the Clarion Mall is in its second year of being the sponsor of the Player of the Week award. More information on the RRR Roadhouse, which also provides catering services for any occasion, can be found at www.rrrroadhouse.com or by calling them at 814-227-2000.
