QUESTION & ANSWER
Q: Last year, you guys finished the season with a disappointing loss to St. Marys in the Class AAA semifinals. How did that motivate the team for this season?
A: All our guys took the loss to St. Marys very hard. I probably took it harder knowing how bad I performed costing those guys a shot at the district.  However, I think the loss helped us though in the long run for this year.  It made us realize that we had to work harder in the offseason and in the weight room to get where we want to be, District champions.

Q: You were a first-year starting QB last year and played very well. What's it like to QB in a system that has produced some pretty good quarterbacks over the years?
A: It helps out tremendously. I had the chance to watch Tanner Kelley play four years ago leading his team to a district championship, as did Andrew Janocko. Andrew has really helped me out the last couple of years, developing me into the best quarterback I can be.
Q: Your dad has been the defensive coordinator for the Bisons for many years. How has that helped your understanding of playing quarterback? And do you enjoy playing defense as much as quarterbacking?
A: It helps me tremendously.  He was a college quarterback himself. I've learned a lot of what I know from him. Really, I just love being out on the field, no matter what position I'm playing. I just have a great time playing football.
Q: What's it like having a younger brother, Trey, as a receiver? Being the older brother and the quarterback, do you have the final say, or is he right sometimes if you disagree?
A: Trey is one of my best friends.  He's a very good receiver, and we understand each other very well.  We click very well out on the field.  No matter what, I always have the final say since I am the older brother and the quarterback.

Q: What are your plans after high school?
A: I would like to attend college and major in sports management. I am also planning on playing football in college.
