DRIVING DIRECTIONS TO NOV. 7-8 DISTRICT 9 PLAYOFF FOOTBALL GAMES

Directions are meant as a guide only. Please consult a map for accurate directions or call the appropriate high school.

BROOKVILLE VS. MONITEAU AT KARNS CITY (Return to top of page)

LOCATION: Karns City High School

DATE/TIME: Friday, Nov. 7, 7 p.m.

DIRECTIONS FROM: Brookville

1. Take Interstate 80 West to Exit 62

2. At the end of the exit ramp make a left onto Route 68 South

3. Take Route 68 South into Sligo. At the blinker light, make a left toward Rimersburg so that you remain on Route 68 South. 

4. Continue of Route 68 South through Rimersburg and East Brady. Cross the Allegheny River in East Brady and follow Route 68 South until it intersects with Route 268. 

5. Make a right onto Route 268 North and follow it until you reach Karns City High School on your left. Make the left before the high school. Parking is behind the high school and admission is charged when you pull in the parking lot. 

DIRECTIONS FROM: West Sunbury (Moniteau High School)

1. Take PA 138 to PA 38 and make a right onto PA 38

2. Take PA 38 to Hooker Road and make a left onto Hooker Road

3. Take Hooker Road to PA-268 and make a right onto PA-268 

4. The High School is on your right. Make a right after the high school. Parking is behind the high school and admission is charged when you pull into the parking lot. 

KANE VS. KARNS CITY AT CLARION UNIVERSITY (Return to top of page)

LOCATION: Clarion University of Pennsylvania's Memorial Stadium

DATE/TIME: Friday, Nov. 7, 7 p.m.

DIRECTIONS FROM: Kane

1. Take Route 66 South all the way to the intersection with Route 322.

2. At the stop light at the intersection of Route 66 and Route 322 make a left onto Route 322 East toward Clarion

3. Follow Route 322 East down a large hill, across the Clarion River and then back up the other side of the hill. Memorial Stadium is on your right at the top of the hill. Stadium parking is available on the right before you reach the stadium itself. If you require handicap parking, continue past the main parking to the stadium gate entrance on your right. 

DIRECTIONS FROM: Karns City High School

1. Take Route 268 to Route 68 North 

2. Take Route 68 North through East Brady, Rimersburg and Sligo (at the blinker light in Sligo, make a right to continue on Route 68 North).

3. Route 68 North eventually crosses over Interstate 80 and the Clarion Wal-Mart will be on your left once you cross I-80

4. Go straight at the light at Wal-Mart and continue straight at the light at the Clarion Mall. Route 68 North becomes South Fifth Ave. past the mall.

5. Continue down the hill and the back up on South Fifth Ave. At the next stop light continue straight until you reach Main Street/Route 322 in downtown Clarion.

6. At the stop light on Main Street, make a left (left-hand turning lane is available) and follow Main Street to the edge of town. Memorial Stadium is directly in front of you. The road bends 90 degree to the right. You will pass the stadium and immediately past the stadium is a right-hand turn for stadium parking. Handicap parking is available at the upper portion of the stadium proper (You would basically go straight instead of following Main Street to the right driving into the gates at the stadium). 

KEYSTONE AT CAMERON COUNTY (Return to top of page)

LOCATION: Cameron County High School

DATE/TIME: Friday, Nov. 7, 7 p.m.

DIRECTIONS FROM: Knox

1.Get on Interstate 80 East and take it to Exit 101 (Second DuBois exit)

2. Take Route 255 North onto St. Marys

3. Turn slight right onto PA-120 East/PA-255 North/South St. Marys St. Continue to follow PA-120 East to Emporium (Approx. 20 miles)

4. In Emporium turn left onto Woodland Ave.

CLARION AT REDBANK VALLEY (Return to top of page)

LOCATION: Redbank Valley High School

DATE/TIME: Friday, Nov. 7, 7 p.m.

DIRECTIONS FROM: Clarion

1. Take Route 66 South to New Bethlehem

2. At the second red light on Route 66 South in New Bethlehem make a left onto Route 28 North

3. Follow Route 28 North through town. The high school is on your left just on the outskirts of town. Parking is available in the lots by the school which is just past the football field. 

ELK COUNTY CATHOLIC AT CURWENSVILLE (Return to top of page)

LOCATION: Curwensville's Riverside Stadium

DATE/TIME: Saturday, Nov. 8

DIRECTIONS FROM: St. Marys  

1. Take Route 255 South to Route 153

2. Turn left onto Route 153 South

3. Take Route 153 to Interstate 80

4. Take Interstate 80 East to Clearfield (Exit 120)

5. Turn Right onto Route 879

6. Take Route 879 toward Curwensville

7. The football field is at the near edge of town. You will see the lights on your left. Once you see the lights, take the first left and cross the bridge. If you miss the left and reach the railroad underpass, you have gone too far.

JOHNSONBURG AT COUDERSPORT (Return to top of page)

LOCATION: Coudersport Area Recreational Park

DATE/TIME: Saturday, Nov. 8, 7 p.m.

DIRECTIONS FROM: Johnsonburg

1. Take US 219 South to St. Marys

2. Take PA-255 North/PA-120 East (Make a right to stay onto PA-120)

3. Make a right to stay on PA-120/East Allegheny Ave.

4. Turn left onto PA-155

5. Turn right onto PA-607

6. Turn left onto Turner Street which becomes Elliot Street

7. Turn left onto Rugaber Street/PA-872

8. Turn left onto Grum Hill Road for one mile until it becomes Grom Hill Road for another 0.9 miles when it becomes Toles Hollow  for 1.2 miles and then Toles Hollow Road for 0.1 mile

9. Turn Right onto US-6 East

10. At the first traffic light in Coudersport, turn left on Main Street (at the Sheetz).

11. Go straight five blocks and turn right onto 7^th Street

12. Go across the bridge and turn left in to CARP (Coudersport Area Recreational Park)
