SHIPPENVILLE – Brockway junior quarterback Derrick Buganza is the RRR Roadhouse D9Sports.com District 9 Football Player of the Week for Week Two of the 2009 season.  

Buganza had another brilliant night throwing the football in the Rovers 42-14 win at Coudersport going 16 of 21 for 276 yards and five touchdowns while also throwing an interception. He added 17 yards rushing while helping Brockway to its second win of the season.

Facing competition from Bradford’s Pat Pascarella and Clearfield’s Trey Campman among others, Buganza’s night stood out because it came against a perennial District 9 playoff team.

Pascarella and Campman are joined by 13 District 9 players on the RRR Roadhouse D9Sports.com Honor Roll this week.
