 SHIPPENVILLE – Cameron County quarterback Jason Blose is the third RRR Roadhouse D9Sports.com District 9 Football Player of the Week for the 2009 season.

Blose used his legs to lead the Red Raiders to a come-from-behind 28-20 win at Brockway Friday night scoring two rushing touchdowns in the final 3:40 of the game. On the night, he rushed 21 times for 113 yards and two touchdowns while going 1 of 6 passing for six yards and coming up with a key interception on defense.

Blose received stiff competition from Clarion’s Bubba Rue and Elk County Catholic’s Ricky Pearsall, who both rushed for over 200 yards Friday night.

Rue and Pearsall are both members of the RRR Roadhouse D9Sports.com Honor Roll and are joined by 13 additional District 9 players who had outstanding weeks.
