SHIPPENVILLE – Keystone’s Dan Reed is the sixth RRR Roadhouse D9Sports.com District 9 Football Player of the Week for the 2009 season after leading the Panthers to a come-from-behind 27-24 win over overtime against Moniteau Friday night.

Keystone trailed 21-7 in the second half before threw a pair of touchdown passes including a 45-yard scoring toss to Ben Marchand with 3:19 left in regulation to force overtime. Then in the extra session, with Keystone trailing 24-21, he hit Brett Zuck with an 11-yard scoring pass to win the game.

Reed finished the night 11 of 23 passing for 256 yards and four touchdowns while also rushing 14 times for 18 yards. On defense, the senior picked off a pass while helping the Panthers improve to 4-2 on the year.

Joining Reed in being honored this week are 15 players on the RRR Roadhouse D9Sports.com Honor Roll including Colbert’s teammate Justin Bird.
