DRIVING DIRECTIONS TO NOV. 13-14 DISTRICT 9 PLAYOFF FOOTBALL GAMES

Directions are meant as a guide only. Please consult a map for accurate directions or call the appropriate high school.

REDBANK VALLEY AT CURWENSVILLE (Return to top of page)

LOCATION: Riverside Stadium in Curwensville

DATE/TIME: Friday, Nov. 13, 7 p.m.

DIRECTIONS FROM: St. Marys

1. Take Route 28 North to Brookville

2. Route 28 becomes Allegheny Blvd./Route 36

3. Make a left onto Interstate 80 East

4. Take Interstate 80 East to Clearfield (Exit 120)

5. Turn Right onto Route 879

6. Take Route 879 toward Curwensville

7. The football field is at the near edge of town. You will see the lights on your left. Once you see the lights, take the first left and cross the bridge. If you miss the left and reach the railroad underpass, you have gone too far.

ELK COUNTY CATHOLIC AT CLARION (Return to top of page)

LOCATION: Clarion University's Memorial Stadium

DATE/TIME: Friday, Nov. 13, 7 p.m.

DIRECTIONS FROM: St. Marys

1. Take Route 255 South to Interstate 80

2. Take Interstate 80 West to Exit 62

3. At the end of the exit ramp make a right onto Route 68 West toward Clarion (Wal-Mart will be to the front on the left)

4. Route 68 West becomes South 5th Ave. Follow to Main St./US-322.

5. At the stop light on Main Street, make a left (left-hand turning lane is available) and follow Main Street to the edge of town. Memorial Stadium is directly in front of you. The road bends 90 degree to the right. You will pass the stadium and immediately past the stadium is a right-hand turn for stadium parking. Handicap parking is available at the upper portion of the stadium proper (You would basically go straight instead of following Main Street to the right driving into the gates at the stadium).

DATE/TIME: Friday, Nov. 13, 7 p.m.

DIRECTIONS FROM: Port Allegany

1. Take Route 155 South to Route 120

2. Make a right onto Route 120

3. Turn left onto East 4th St./Route 120

4. Turn right onto Woodland Ave.

KEYSTONE AT COUDERSPORT (Return to top of page)

LOCATION: Coudersport Area Recreational Park

DATE/TIME: Saturday, Nov. 8, 7 p.m.

DIRECTIONS FROM: Knox

1. Take Route 208 east to Route 322

2. Turn right onto Route 322 East

3. Turn left onto Route 66 North

4. Stay on Route 66 North into Kane and Take Route 6 East

10. At the first traffic light in Coudersport, turn left on Main Street (at the Sheetz).

11. Go straight five blocks and turn right onto 7^th Street

12. Go across the bridge and turn left in to CARP (Coudersport Area Recreational Park)

MONITEAU VS. BROCKWAY AT CLARION UNIVERSITY'S MEMORIAL STADIUM (Return to top of page)

LOCATION: Clarion University's Memorial Stadium

DATE/TIME: Saturday, Nov. 14, 1 p.m.

DIRECTIONS FROM: West Sunbury (Moniteau High School)

1. Take Route 308 North to Interstate 80

2. Take Interstate 80 East to Exit 62 (Clarion)

3. At the end "Y" at the on the exit ramp, take the left "Y" to the red light

4. Make a left onto Route 68 North

5. Continue on Route 68 North which becomes South Fifth Ave. past the Clarion Mall. 

6. Continue down the hill and the back up on South Fifth Ave. At the next stop light continue straight until you reach Main Street/Route 322 in downtown Clarion.

7. At the stop light on Main Street, make a left (left-hand turning lane is available) and follow Main Street to the edge of town. Memorial Stadium is directly in front of you. The road bends 90 degree to the right. You will pass the stadium and immediately past the stadium is a right-hand turn for stadium parking. Handicap parking is available at the upper portion of the stadium proper (You would basically go straight instead of following Main Street to the right driving into the gates at the stadium). 

DIRECTIONS FROM: Brockway

1. Take Route 28 South to Interstate 80

2. Take Interstate 80 West to Exit 62

3. At the end of the exit ramp make a right onto Route 68 West toward Clarion (Wal-Mart will be to the front on the left)

4. Route 68 West becomes South 5th Ave. Follow to Main St./US-322.

KANE VS. KARNS CITY AT CLARION UNIVERSITY'S MEMORIAL STADIUM (Return to top of page)

LOCATION: Clarion University's Memorial Stadium

DATE/TIME: Saturday, Nov. 14, 5 p.m.

DIRECTIONS FROM: Kane

1. Take Route 66 South all the way to the intersection with Route 322.

2. At the stop light at the intersection of Route 66 and Route 322 make a left onto Route 322 East toward Clarion

3. Follow Route 322 East down a large hill, across the Clarion River and then back up the other side of the hill. Memorial Stadium is on your right at the top of the hill. Stadium parking is available on the right before you reach the stadium itself. If you require handicap parking, continue past the main parking to the stadium gate entrance on your right. 

DIRECTIONS FROM: Karns City High School

1. Take Route 268 to Route 68 North 

2. Take Route 68 North through East Brady, Rimersburg and Sligo (at the blinker light in Sligo, make a right to continue on Route 68 North).

3. Route 68 North eventually crosses over Interstate 80 and the Clarion Wal-Mart will be on your left once you cross I-80

4. Go straight at the light at Wal-Mart and continue straight at the light at the Clarion Mall. Route 68 North becomes South Fifth Ave. past the mall.

5. Continue down the hill and the back up on South Fifth Ave. At the next stop light continue straight until you reach Main Street/Route 322 in downtown Clarion.

DUBOIS VS. ERIE MCDOWELL AT EDINBORO'S SOX HARRISON STADIUM (Return to top of page)

LOCATION: Edinboro's University's Sox Harrison Stadium

DIRECTIONS FROM: DuBois

1. Take Interstate 80 West to Exit 19B

2. Take Interstate 79 North to Exit 166

3. Turn right onto Route 6

4. Make a right onto Scotland Road

5. The football stadium is on the left. Parking is available past the football stadium across from McComb Fieldhouse
