DRIVING DIRECTIONS TO NOV. 20-21 DISTRICT 9 PLAYOFF FOOTBALL GAMES

Directions are meant as a guide only. Please consult a map for accurate directions or call the appropriate high school.

BROCKWAY VS. KARNS CITY AT CLARION UNIVERSITY'S MEMORIAL STADIUM (Return to top of page)

LOCATION: Clarion University's Memorial Stadium

DATE/TIME: Friday, Nov. 20, 7 p.m.

DIRECTIONS FROM: Brockway

1. Take Route 28 South to Interstate 80

2. Take Interstate 80 West to Exit 62

3. At the end of the exit ramp make a right onto Route 68 West toward Clarion (Wal-Mart will be to the front on the left)

4. Route 68 West becomes South 5th Ave. Follow to Main St./US-322.

5. At the stop light on Main Street, make a left (left-hand turning lane is available) and follow Main Street to the edge of town. Memorial Stadium is directly in front of you. The road bends 90 degree to the right. You will pass the stadium and immediately past the stadium is a right-hand turn for stadium parking. Handicap parking is available at the upper portion of the stadium proper (You would basically go straight instead of following Main Street to the right driving into the gates at the stadium). 

DIRECTIONS FROM: Karns City High School

1. Take Route 268 to Route 68 North 

2. Take Route 68 North through East Brady, Rimersburg and Sligo (at the blinker light in Sligo, make a right to continue on Route 68 North).

3. Route 68 North eventually crosses over Interstate 80 and the Clarion Wal-Mart will be on your left once you cross I-80

4. Go straight at the light at Wal-Mart and continue straight at the light at the Clarion Mall. Route 68 North becomes South Fifth Ave. past the mall.

5. Continue down the hill and the back up on South Fifth Ave. At the next stop light continue straight until you reach Main Street/Route 322 in downtown Clarion.

6. At the stop light on Main Street, make a left (left-hand turning lane is available) and follow Main Street to the edge of town. Memorial Stadium is directly in front of you. SCHENLEY VS. PUNXSUTAWNEY AT DUBOIS' E.J. MANSELL STADIUM (Return to top of page)

LOCATION: DuBois' E.J. Mansell Stadium

DATE/TIME: Friday, Nov. 20, 7 p.m.

DIRECTIONS FROM: Pittsburgh

1. Take Route 28 North to Kittanning

2. Follow ramp for Route 28 North Kittanning/Indiana

3. Follow signs to Route 28 North/New Bethlehem

4. In New Bethlehem stay straight on Route 28 North following signs for Brookville

5. At the stop light outside of Brookville continue straight onto Allegheny Blvd./Route 36 North

6. Take right-hand ramp to Interstate 80 East

7. Take Exit 97 DuBois/Falls Creek. Merge right onto Route 219

8. Follow Route 219 into DuBois. Continue on Route 219 by turning right at stop light at the intersection of Route 219 and Route 255

4. E.J. Mansell Stadium is two blocks on your left just past DuBois Middle School

DIRECTIONS FROM: Punxsutawney

1. Take US-119 North toward DuBois

2. Turn left onto Sykes St./US-119 North

3. Turn left onto US-219/Watson Highway

4. E.J. Mansell Stadium is on your  right

CLARION VS. CAMERON COUNTY AT FRANK VARISCHETTI FIELD IN BROCKWAY (Return to top of page)

LOCATION: Frank Varischetti Stadium in Brockway 

DATE/TIME: Saturday, Nov. 21, 1 p.m.

DIRECTIONS FROM: Clarion

1. Take Interstate 80 West to Exit 81 Hazen

2. At the end of the exit ramp make a left onto Route 28 North

3. Take Route 28 North into Brockway

4. Once in Brockway, cross the railroad tracks and cross the bridge. Take the first left at the pizza shop. 

5. Frank Varischetti Field is straight ahead on the left. Parking is available near the stadium

1. Take 120 West into St. Marys to Route 219 

2. Take Route 219 South to Brockway to Route 28 South

3. Take Route 28 South. Turn right before the pizza shop. Parking is available near the stadium.

COUDERSPORT VS. CURWENSVILLE AT FRANK VARISCHETTI FIELD IN BROCKWAY (Return to top of page)

LOCATION: Frank Varischetti Stadium in Brockway 

DATE/TIME: Saturday, Nov. 21, 1 p.m.

DIRECTIONS FROM: Coudersport

1. Take Route 872 South to Route 607

2. Turn right onto Route 607 and take to Cowley Hill Road

3. Turn left on Cowley Hill Road and take to PA 155.

4. Turn left onto PA 155 and take to PA 120

5. Turn Right onto PA 120

6. Take 120 West into St. Marys to Route 219 

7. Take Route 219 South to Brockway to Route 28 South

8. Take Route 28 South. Turn right before the pizza shop. Parking is available near the stadium.

DIRECTIONS FROM: Curwensville 

1. Take PA 879 to Interstate 80

2. Take Interstate 80 West to Exit 97

3. Merge onto Route 219 North toward Brockway

4. Turn left onto Route 28 South

5. Turn right before the pizza shop. Parking is available near the stadium.
