STRATTANVILLE - After trailing 19-0 midway through the third quarter, Redbank rallied with 20 unanswered points capped off by Shiloh Buchleitner's 26-yard touchdown run with a 1:09 left for a 20-19 season opening win Friday night against Clarion-Limestone.

"He is a playmaker for us", said Redbank coach Brandon Rapp. "We need to have the ball in his hands."

C-L came out in the first quarter and capitalized on a Redbank interception.  C-L senior quarterback Dan Miller scored from five yards out which gave the Lions a 7-0 lead with 8:21 left in the first quarter.

Two possessions later, C-L extended its lead to 13-0 on a 1-yard touchdown run by Miller.  Once again, the Lions gained good field position off of another Redbank miscue in the air.

In the third quarter, C-L marched 73 yards on 14 plays consuming 7:17 of the clock capped off by Zac Roller catching a touchdown pass from Miller from 30 yards to give C-L a 19-0 lead.

Redbank came right back on its next possession chewing up 60 yards on the ground and ending the drive with a 16-yard touchdown jaunt by Pat Goheen to cut the lead to 13, 19-6.

Redbank continued its comeback in the fourth quarter.

With 5:16 remaining, Shiloh Buchleitner found pay dirt from two yards out to cut C-L's lead 19-13.

After C-L was forced to punt on its next possession, Redbank completed its comeback going 56 yards in five plays.  The big play of the drive was on fourth-and-12 from C-L's 47 yard line, Buchleitner was able to dodge -L defenders for a 19-yard gain and a fresh set of downs.  On the next play, Buchleitner once again avoided CL defenders and romped 26 yards into the end zone for a 20-19 victory.

Leading the way for C-L was Dan Miller with 187 yards in the air and 31 on the ground. Jace Rhoades had seven receptions for 130 yards.

Shiloh Buchleitner led the way for Redbank contributing 170 yards of total offense.

Both teams will be on the road next week as CL will travel to Moniteau and Redbank will visit Keystone.
