BROOKVILLE – On a wet and slippery Homecoming Night, the Brookville Raiders blanked visiting Clarion-Limestone, 27-0.

The Raiders (2-3 overall, 2-2 Keystone Shortway Athletic Conference) took advantage of six Clarion-Limestone turnovers, turning three into scores, and limited the Lions (1-4, 1-4) to 41 yards of offense in steady rain on already poor turf conditions almost the entire game.

Ethan Harmon ran for touchdowns of 10 and 8 yards, the second coming off his interception of Lions quarterback Dan Miller on the second play of the second half to hike the score to 20-0.

The Raiders intercepted Miller three times in as many possessions to start the second half. Garrett Weaver followed Harmon’s pickoff and then Brock Bietz intercepted Miller at the Raiders’ 8 to stop the Lions’ only serious scoring threat in the game with 9:28 left in the fourth quarter.

Brookville marched 92 yards on 13 plays following the turnover to score on backup running back Conan Gilhousen’s 1-yard run.

Miller completed 4 of 13 passes for 16 yards. He also fumbled away two balls in the first half, the first giveaway leading to Harmon’s first TD with 4:28 left in the first quarter.

Quarterback Tyler Dombrowski hit Jared Heschke with an 11-yard TD pass with 54 seconds left in the first quarter to put the Raiders up 14-0.
