SHIPPENVILLE – Two players who share the
same home field, same home city and both ran for over 200 yards in a
14-point victory but go to neighboring schools are the Week 6 Co-RRR
Roadhouse D9Sports.com District 9 Football Players of the Week. Elk County Catholic’s Ricky Pearsall ran 31 times for
211 yards and three touchdowns in the Crusaders 27-13 win at home over
Kane Friday night, while St. Marys’ Justin Quiggle ran 28 times for 248
yards and two touchdowns, caught one pass for 18 yards and recovered a
fumble on defense in the Dutchmen’s 28-14 win at Redbank Valley Friday
night. In addition to Pearsall, who was also Co-Player of
the Week with Brockway’s Derek Buganza in Week Three, and Quiggle, 14
additional players are being honored on the RRR Roadhouse D9Sports.com
