SHIPPENVILLE – Karns City’s Glenn Toy and Port Allegany’s Matt Bodamer are the RRR Roadhouse D9Sports.com Co-Players of the Week for the 10th week of the 2011 season.

Toy played a big part in helping Karns City shred the best scoring defense in District 9 rushing 18 times for 218 yards and five touchdowns in a 46-28 Gremlin win over Clarion. The 46 points doubled the previous high allowed by the Bobcats this season. Toy was also a forced on the defensive side of the football making eight tackles and picking off a pass.

Bodamer, meanwhile, earned his second straight Player of the Week award and his fifth of the season after leading Port Allegany to its first AML title in 23 years with a 56-27 win over Brockway in the AML title game. He accounted for eight Gator touchdowns going 18-for-34 passing for 286 yards, four touchdowns and two interceptions. He also ran the ball 14 times for 97 yards and three touchdowns and returned an interception for a touchdown.

Joining Toy and Bodamer in being honored are 14 additional players who are on the RRR Roadhouse D9Sports.com Honor Roll after outstanding games over the weekend. This is the last Player of the Week selection for the 2011 season.
