SHIPPENVILLE Four the
fourth time this season, Port Alleganys Matt Bodamer is the RRR Roadhouse
D9Sports.com Player of the Week (Week 7).
In the game, Bodamer was 19 of 26 passing for 286 yards, four
touchdowns and an interception while also running nine times for 111 yards
and a touchdown and also returning a pair of interceptions for touchdowns
on defense (65 and 94 yards). The four touchdowns give Bodamer 120 in his
career passing the previous record of 118 by Lancaster Catholics Kyle
Smith.
On the season, Bodamer has video-game like numbers completing 76.2
percent of his passes (125 of 164) for 2,191 yards, 35 touchdowns and two
interceptions. For his career, Bodamer is 541 of 829 for 9,188 yards, 120
touchdowns and 22 interceptions. He is just the third quarterback in
Pennsylvania history and the second in District 9 history to throw for
9,000 career yards. He is 564 yards shy of the Pennsylvania and District 9
record of 9,752 yards set by Brockways Derek Buganza. Bodamer has also
run for 1,846 yards and 34 touchdowns in his career.
