SHEFFIELD 31, COUDERSPORT 30
SHEFFIELD – Backup quarterback Adam Higby’s touchdown
pass to Brendan Winslow with 22 seconds left gave
Sheffield its first win over Coudersport since 1973,
31-30, Saturday afternoon in Sheffield.
A 55-yard wide-receiver pass from Shaquan Wright, the
starting quarterback who was playing wide receiver at
the time, to Winslow on fourth-and-19 from the Sheffield
33-yard line set up the game-winning score.
The Wolverines (2-3 overall, 2-3 AML North) trailed

(1-4, 1-4).

shifting to wide out, got hot in the second half and
finished 8-for-14 passing for 131 yards and three

a score, picked off a pass on defense and also recovered
